Capt. Frederick J. Ruder (1917-), a member of the U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1941, served in destroyers and submarines during a thirty-year Naval career. He saw duty in the PHELPS, HADDO, DACE, BURRFISH, REQUIN, ARGONAUT, BECUNA, ATULE, WALLACE L. LIND, AND ELDORADO.
